The Michelin Guide's review
Portugal's highest peak (2,351 m), a perfect cone with regular slopes, is sometimes covered in a blanket of snow in winter, but more often than not, it hides in the clouds: sometimes wearing a hat, sometimes wrapped in a modest scarf... rarely naked. Climbing it is an unforgettable and much sought-after experience, but its appeal is highly dependent on the weather. It is essential to register at the casa da Montanha.
