The Michelin Guide's review
Zora Street, which is in fact a narrow flight of steps, leads up Džambaz tepe, "Acrobats' Hill", climbing a steep rocky slope on the way. It is lined with several interesting buildings, including "Marazlijata" School, dating from the 19C and a group of small early-19C houses. It is also the location of the tiny St Paraskeva's Church, which seems to rise from a rocky peak and whose tower is one of the town's landmarks. Affectionately known as the "old church", this sanctuary (1830) boasts handsome wooden ceilings.
