The Michelin Guide's review
About an hour's walk from Pointe Coton on the East Coast takes you to the cove of Trou d'Argent, a charming little sandy beach sheltered by two magnificent cliffs, an untamed spot pounded by the waves rushing in through a gap in the coral reef. The water here is adorned with the enchanting colours of the parrotfish. Local fishermen say that on certain days, in fair weather, you can see a chain which, legend has it, leads to a treasure.
