Tamariccio Beach

Michelin Guide
Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
One of the best-preserved locations is the area of Tamariccio, which has adorned many a postcard, and is accessible by a nature trail. In the distance, one can make out the five rocky islets surrounded by reefs that make up the Îles Cerbicale (not accessible to the public). Classified as a nature reserve, this site protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral is a haven for crested cormorants, which nest here in their thousands.
