  The Michelin Guide's review
This former inn is the birthplace of Karen Blixen, the famous author, whose memoir, Out of Africa, was adapted for the cinema in 1985 and became an international success. Her house has been turned into a museum, but kept more or less as it was while she was alive. Her furniture, as well as drawings, paintings and souvenirs from Africa remain there. The attic houses an exhibition that looks back over her life, exhibiting photos and objects such as her Corona typewriter.
