Erected in 1927, this unusual brick gate commemorates the first 11 mayors of Saint-Hyacinthe. It was inaugurated to celebrate the 100th birthday of Georges-Casimir Dessaulles, who was mayor from 1867 to 1879 and 1886 to 1897.
