Well worth the diversions
Natural site
The Michelin Guide's review
Renowned for the beautiful colors of its waters, this lake which the Doubs crosses is established in a "valley". It once formed with that of Remoray only one body of water. It is by its surface the fourth natural lake of France, partially frozen in winter. It fulfills the purpose of regulating the waters of the Doubs since at its northern end a dam was built.
