The Riva is how the inhabitants refer to the seashore. The walk skirts part of the old ramparts, the most visible sections of which are between Hotel Jadran and the cathedral. The ramparts are 14C and 15C. Following the quay westwards, you will reach the spot where the town's youth meet in noisy, lively bars.
