The Lingering Garden has a discreet entrance, but inside is a simply wonderful sight: ancient trees to the west, bamboos to the north, galleries zigzagging from one landscape to another. In the main pool, glinting with emerald green flecked with yellow, white and red, schools of glimmering fish swim about gracefully. Seen from the Refreshing Breeze balcony, this idealised version of nature couldn't be more harmonious.
