The Michelin Guide's review
Telc Square owes its elongated trapezium shape to the meeting of two former roads. It represents a wonderful urban landscape of Renaissance and Baroque houses linked by an unbroken arcade. The painted façades, adorned with sgraffite and gables, are remarkable (N°61 is particularly fine). In the centre stand a fountain and a Plague Column. Further on are the town hall, church of the Holy Spirit (Kostel sv. Ducha), Jesuit college and a Gothic parish church St Jacob's (Sv. Jakuba).
