  The Michelin Guide's review
The Gallura Interiore stretches out between the northern coast and the crest of the Monti Limbara in the south. Its little roads climb up and descend the voluptuous contours of wooded hillside. The vines grown here produce the famous Vermentino, and cork oaks. The region remains relatively unknown to tourists and offers an opportunity to discover a more authentic Sardinia, starting with the "capital", Tempio Pausania, which has kept in touch with its roots while embracing modernity, and a few little towns and wine-growing villages.
