The Michelin Guide's review
Built in 1922, the House of Good Posterity takes its inspiration from the refined decor of Ming houses. The second courtyard is decorated with sumptuous sculpted wood panelling, while the entrance to the third courtyard is crowned by a "pheasant's wing" roof, inspired by the Song dynasty. In the last courtyard, three sculpted sages greet passers-by. On the opposite bank, the House of the Veneration of the Fundamentals houses engravings on wood which represent scenes from classical mythology.
