The Michelin Guide's review
In the late 15C, this lavishly embellished abode was the home of Filippo Buonaccorsi, private tutor of the sons of King Casimir Jagellon. The Gothic edifice, restored in the late 17C, today illustrates an Italianate Baroque style and owes its name to the golden star that graces its facade. It is home to a museum of Asian art which exhibits Chinese pottery and painting, Japanese prints and porcelain, Indian sculptures and bronze statues from the 17C BCE.
