The Michelin Guide's review
The Oriental-style Trnava Synagogue is currently occupied by the Centre of Contemporary Art. It dates back to the early 19C, when the town was renovated. Jews who had settled in Trnava in the Middle Ages were expelled in the first half of the 16C and then allowed to resettle in the town from the second half of the 19C.
