This magnificent arc-shaped beach north of Trou aux Biches has 3km of sand and nothing built on it so far. It is quiet during the week and more lively on Sundays, when Mauritian families come for picnics, siestas, ball playing and listening to music, and street vendors and snack bar vans do a week's worth of business in the shade of the filao trees.
