The Michelin Guide's review
The park is named after the tree-like saguaro cactus that is native to the foothills of the Tucson mountains. In the west of the park, this emblem of Southwest America has grown into genuine forests. North of the Visitor Center, the Valley View Overlook Trail leads to a breathtaking point of view over the valley. The eastern section of the park is called the Rincon Mountain District. Less colorful than its neighbor to the west, it is home to seven hiking trails.
