The Michelin Guide's review
The Souk et-Trouk owes its names to the Turkish weavers and tailors who once worked here. Nowadays, clothing shops stand alongside boutiques selling furniture, carpets, souvenirs and above all leather goods. The street is completely covered by high brick vaulting that bestow it with a certain elegance. You'll probably want to linger in the Ed-Dar mansion (at n° 7), home to a renowned store selling antiques, arts and crafts. A visit to this old building is like visiting a museum.
