  The Michelin Guide's review
Designed by Francis Rattenbury, this Neoclassical edifice served as the Vancouver Courthouse for many years. It was recast in 1983 as an art museum by Arthur Erickson. The rooms now open onto a central rotunda whose glass domed ceiling floods the structure in light. Among the museum's 10,000 works are paintings and drawings by Emily Carr. Temporary exhibitions staged.
