Plaza del Machete

Michelin Guide
Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
This quiet and vast square is named after the machete or cutlass on which the procurer general swore to defend the town's liberties. It is lined by the 16C Villa Suso, a fine Renaissance palace that is now a conference centre. This is the starting point for visiting the ramparts.
