Next to the Playing Cards Museum, and housed in the modern extension of the Renaissance Bendaña Palace, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Museo de Arqueologí contains some 1 500 artefacts from digs in Álava; they cover a period from the Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages. Note the ensembles taken from dolmens, and the Roman sculptures and stelae.
