The Michelin Guide's review
In 1226, Duke Leopold VI summoned the Dominicans to Vienna, where they consecrated their first church. It was burned down and laid to waste by the Turks but rebuilt in the 17C. The sanctuary's decorative power resides in its stuccowork, characteristic of early Baroque.
