This walk around Yangmen takes you via dirt roads to the Shui village of Zhongyi, then to two Shui and Miao villages. It takes you across beautiful landscapes of rice fields and gives you the opportunity to meet people from these two minorities. If you come in mid-October, you might have the chance to attend Jieduan, the Shui New Year. Otherwise, many Miao festivals take place throughout the year.
