Description
Just a 5-minute walk from Gimmelwald cable car, this hostel features wonderful views of the Bernese Alps. It has a snack bar, a grocery store and an attractive beer garden.
Mountain Hostel Gimmelwald provides heated dormitories with mountain views. Guests have use of shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen.
A bar and a lounge are on site. A laundry room and a pool table are in the annex. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas of the Mountain Hostel and, in addition, one free internet station is provided.
Hiking trails begin just outside of the hostel. The Gimmelwald cable car takes you to the Schilthorn peak and the towns of Mürren and Stechelberg. Guests can also enjoy free use of the swimming pool in Mürren.
