Located directly on the slopes, 164 feet from the ski elevators in Holzgau/Gföllberglift Ski Area, Gasthof Bären offers 2 on-site restaurants and a spa center featuring various sauna facilities, relaxation room, a massage parlor and refreshments bar. Free Wi-Fi access is available in communal areas. The Bären’s rooms have satellite TV and mountain views. The private bathroom come with a bathtub or shower. Some units have a balcony. Every morning breakfast is available for guests and is served buffet style. International and traditional Austrian dishes can be chosen from the rich menu, and enjoyed on the south-facing terrace. Different winter hikes are organized by the owner, who is a certified mountain guide. Tobogganing trails start right beside the property and equipment is available for rental as well. In summer, hiking trails can be accessed directly from the premises and both the Holzgau Suspension Bridge and the Simms Waterfall are only a few minutes away.
