The Rooms are the latest evolution in the rich history of The Checkers Inn which has welcomed visitors to Thornham since the 16th century, most recently as a hotel and restaurant. Now, the eleven elegant, characterful bedrooms and comfortable downstairs sitting rooms become the base for unforgettable stays in stunning North Norfolk. Thornham Rooms can be a romantic hideaway, or a place for walkers and wildlife-spotters, a cozy retreat or the base for exciting exploration. The room-only approach means guests can discover their own favorite spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner, brunch, afternoon tea, or drinks. We are looking forward to telling guests about our favorite places - not least our Thornham pub, The Lifeboat Inn - encouraging them to support local food and drink businesses of all types.
