Chinese-born interior designer Wen Blank has completely transformed the interior of this 19C villa, once the property of a rich industrialist, with his perfect mix of simple elegance and historical detail. The effect creates a perfect setting for Eugen Herzen’s good contemporary cuisine, which includes dishes such as scallops served on a bed of creamed cauliflower. Tucked away behind the hotel is a lovely little garden.
