L'Alicanta has been on the scene for a while, nestled on the banks of the River Jonte, in the exceptional setting of the Gorges du Tarn. Its chef puts in a solid performance, all home - made food; the menu is changed every season, with the notable exception of the kidney and pan - fried calf sweetbreads, the house specialities. Delicious!
