Chef-owner Tom Kitchin was born and bred in Edinburgh and this smartly converted whisky warehouse provides the perfect setting for his patriotic restaurant. The highlands are brought inside courtesy of walls lined with tree bark and dry stone partitions which divide the room – and the welcoming serving team dressed in kilts bring warmth and an easy-going charm.
Tom is a passionate ambassador for all things Scottish and this, combined with his nature-to-plate philosophy and classical French training, results in dishes that hit the mark every time. Choose from the perfectly balanced à la carte or opt for one of the surprise, vegetarian or prestige tasting menus.
