 The Michelin Guide's review
With a fabulous light and high-ceilinged industrial-style conservatory by Belgian interior designer and art dealer Axel Vervoord, the restaurant in the luxurious Grand Hotel Bayerischer Hof is exceptionally chic. At the stove, Philipp Pfisterer certainly knows his craft. He and his team cook up classics such as beef tartare, as well as modern dishes such as "fillet of sturgeon from Lombardy with an almond crust & saffron cream" or "grilled flank steak with salsa verde". At lunchtime, the two- or three-course business lunch is a good deal. The very quiet location is also pleasant – and something of a rarity in such a central part of Munich.
