As evident by the crowds that file in until its doors close, this spot is truly very hot. The sleek restaurant is narrow and tiny, but with such high ceilings you’ll feel like you’re in a grand hall. Don’t bother with starters or cold items here. Instead get your boil on, since within a few seconds of ordering you’ll have a bevy of flavorful, full-bodied broths bubbling away. The tang pot blends a spicy beef tallow broth with serious kick and a non-spicy pork bone version for a perfect combination. These ingredients are top-notch, especially the beef ribeye and Japanese Kobe. Noodles, tofu, vegetables and sesame paste round it out.
Make sure to come with a crew here as you will need an army to partake in all the flavor fun—and to share the spoils.- MICHELIN guide inspectors
