Useful information

At the time of Frederick the Great (or Old Fritz as he is referred to here) silk was still being spun here. Today this listed property makes a lovely restaurant, which marries some of the original rustic features, such as exposed bricks and dark wooden beams, with carefully chosen, modern fittings. The tables in the charming courtyard garden are lovely and make a great setting for dishes such as boiled veal with asparagus salad or the crispy saddle of suckling pig with pointed cabbage and rosemary. - MICHELIN guide inspectors
