The focal point in this modest, relatively small but simply and efficiently run family restaurant is undoubtedly its cooking. The regionally inspired interior is without excessive decorative detail, although the room to the rear is attractively laid out and boasts a fireplace. The menu here is traditional in feel, but with abundant portions and reasonable prices given the quality of ingredients. Specialities worth trying include the cod “linguas”, the fried rooster fish with fish roe soup and the superb three-peppered tournedos.
