Useful information

Description

Set in a red brick building that echoes the historic vibe of its surroundings, George has been one of Toronto's most popular restaurants since opening in 2003. Inside, the room exudes charm with its industrial bones mixed with an upscale bistro look and feel. A display kitchen turning out enjoyable cooking for the amiable crowd.
Diners keep returning for always pleasing cuisine that features the likes of seared high-quality halibut nestled in potato puree dressed with finely diced, crispy lardons and sweet peas. In addition to à la carte, there is the choice of a 5-, 7- or 10-course tasting which the chef composes spontaneously.
Half-pour cocktails and 3- or 5-oz glasses of wine are just right for those who prefer to imbibe with restraint.
