At a time when fast-casual expansions are dominating the culinary landscape, this osteria—laden with gleaming copper pots and rustic clay urns to reflect the chef’s Sardinian home—is a refreshing find. The menu is built around carefully sourced meats and produce that are deftly prepared and presented. Try the braised artichoke, delicately dressed with olive oil, garlic and herbs. Then, rabbit imbued with prosciutto, rosemary and olives, is an uncommonly good pleasure that is set over crostini di polenta. The cooking is streamlined and authentic, but pay equal attention to their delicious daily specials.
