Sit in low-beamed bar or the larger dining room and conservatory. Well-hung steaks and homemade sausages are a feature, however, fish isn't overlooked, with the chef visiting Birmingham market twice a week. Prices are reasonable, especially from Monday-Thursday, and you can book for a game of petanque too. Bedrooms are smart and modern; some are in roadside cottages.
