Built in 1978 and renovated in 2009, this was the first hawker centre in the Chinatown area. The 104 stalls offer Bak Kut Teh, fruit juice Mee Siam, curry chicken noodles, fish head Bee Hoon, etc. Expect long queues during lunch hours. Potato and tofu puffs curry soup served with rice noodles; Hainanese chicken; and sliced fish.
