Built in 1978 and renovated in 2009, this was the first hawker centre in the Chinatown area. The 104 stalls offer Bak Kut Teh, fruit juice Mee Siam, curry chicken noodles, fish head Bee Hoon, etc. Expect long queues during lunch hours. The dark coloured Bak Kut Teh has a strong flavour. There's also pork knuckle, pork intestines and steamed fish.
