Description

Thanks to a village association, this forest has managed to preserve the habitat of the Belitung tarsier, a fascinating but fragile tiny nocturnal primate with very long hind legs and huge bulging eyes. It can be observed after nightfall, when it comes down from the trees to eat, providing you don't get too close and disturb it. Beforehand, climb up the hill (30min walk) and admire the sunset.
