The Tropic of Capricorn cuts across Queensland's central coast, which boasts beaches and atolls that are perfect for diving. Spared by property developers, the twin seaside resorts of Agnes Water and Town of 1770 are tucked away from the main tourist trail. Ideal to make the most of Queensland's northernmost surfing beach and one of the best spots along the east coast to admire the sunsets.
