Ebony Forest Reserve
The Green Guide

Useful information

Description

Inaugurated in 2006 and open to the public since 2017, this project's mission is to restore and recreate 45ha of indigenous forest and to raise awareness regarding the importance of biodiversity. The Forest Ebony team has already reintroduced more than 140 000 indigenous plants to the reserve. The visit takes place in two stages: the visitor centre, which explores the impact of humankind on nature, then visitors are free to explore the forest, famous for its ebony trees.
