This national park incorporates three distinct ecosystems: coral reefs, seven different types of mangrove swamp and a humid tropical forest, whose immense trees can stand up to 45m in height and which is coloured by a wide variety of bromeliads. Binoculars in hand, birdwatchers can spot migratory birds here. The park is also a good vantage point for observing the humpback whales that pass by just off a small inlet lined with mangroves.
