Useful information

Description

Mount Tamalpais State Park, north of San Francisco, is something of an idyll for hikers and mountain bikers. With pastures and streams, sequoias and oaks, Mt Tamalpais, which peaks at 784m, is an easy climb and gives you the opportunity to admire the view over the whole region. For the Native Miwok, it is a sacred mountain, inhabited by the god Coyote.
