This legendary trail is the most beautiful hike in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. A unique and unforgettable experience lasting 6 to 8 days, it takes in old-growth forests and glacial lakes, with nights spent in a bivouac. Your efforts will be rewarded with glimpses of some incredible wildlife that will make the aching muscles worthwhile. You can carry on to climb Mount Ossa, Tasmania's highest peak (1 617m), or Cradle Mountain, another of the park's iconic mountains.
