Asclepio's Temple (Tempio di Asclepio)
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
For those who do not miss the badly placed signpost that is practically invisible, the temple seems to rise up spontaneously from the countryside. It dates back to the 5C BC and is dedicated to Esculape, the God of Medicine and son of Apollo. The temple is believed to contain a very beautiful statue of Apollo, attributed the Greek statue Myron.
