Description

Housed in a former 17C municipal granary, the collection in this contemporary art museum comprises an interesting collection of modern paintings and sculptures by the sculptor Sempere (1923-1985) to which have been added paintings by Juana Francés (1924-1990). Works by Spanish artists such as Míro, Picasso, Gargallo, Tápies, Saura, Genovés, Chillida and Dalí are intermingled with works by foreign artists including Vasarely, Bacon, Braque, Chagall and Kandinsky.
