Description

The Sentiero dei Fortini hugs the western coast from Punta Carena, in the southwest of the island of Capri, to Punta dell'Arcera, in the northwest. The itinerary boasts an unkempt beauty, and is a chance to admire several forts dating from the first incursion of the Saracens: Tombosiello, Pino, Mesola and Orrico Fortini. This excursion takes around 4hr, with the return journey by bus or taxi.
