Description

The Chiloé archipelago, whose lush vegetation is due to its climate, was once home to over 150 wooden churches and chapels. Among the 60 or so that are left, 16 are listed by UNESCO. Traditional Chilote culture thrives on the main island, Isla Grande de Chiloé and the National Park is ideal for hiking fans. Ferry from Parga.
