Located 40 km northeast of Mahé, to which it is connected by air (20 min) and by sea (1 hr from Victoria and Baie Ste-Anne), Praslin is the second largest island in the archipelago, with an area of 38km2 and two small towns. Its gentle relief (367m at Praslin, its highest point) and colourful natural environment crowned by the Vallée de Mai and its famous cocos de mer, as well as some of the world's most beautiful beaches, are all part of the relaxed, easygoing life here.
