Description
During the 1980s, Auburn Avenue was revitalised and the blocks closely linked to Martin Luther King were designated a National Historic District. Begin your tour at The Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site Visitor Center: using documents from the archives and video clips, often showing searing injustices, it charts the painful history of African Americans, including the civil rights movement and the pivotal role played by Dr King.
