Description

The Imperial villa, with its Classical colonnades, stands on the left bank of the Ischl, in the magnificent landscaped garden of the Kaiserpark. The private apartments hint at the personality of hunting enthusiast Franz Joseph, who was indifferent to modern comforts. It was here that he signed the declaration of war with Serbia on 28 July 1914.
